Wellfield Lodge is proud to be standing Road To Rock, the best performed son of champion Encosta De Lago at stud, with two Australian Gr 1 wins himself (George Main Stakes and Queen Elizabeth Stakes). He is passing that class onto his progeny, with the likes of Hong Kong multiple Gr 1 winning superstar Beauty Generation.
As at the end of the 2018/19 season, he is the sire of 83 individual winners at a ratio of 61% winners to runners. Hong Kong champion Beauty Generation, one of the highest rated milers in the world, went through last season unbeaten and has now won 7 Group 1's and broken the record for prize money won in Hong Kong. Road To Rock is also the sire of All Roads (Gr 2) and Rock On (Gr 3) and black type performer Art Deco.
