Lucidity (3 year old filly by Alamosa out of Zabeel mare Crystalline) was super-impressive in easily winning the 1200 metre maiden at Wanganui today with Rosie Myers aboard.
Raced by her breeders Laurie Laxon and Sir Peter Vela and trained by the Steven Ramsay / Julia Ritchie partnership, Lucidity was having just her second start and in becoming Alamosa's 146th individual winner, she keeps his ratio of winners to runners nudging 60% and looks destined for much higher honours.
