Colorado Miss (Alamosa x Turf Star by Danske) became her sire's 175th individual winner when she won the maiden 1400m at Otaki today. Raced by her breeders Kevin and Corrina Tod, the 4 year old mare is bred on the same Alamosa x Danske mare cross as VRC Oaks winners Kirramosa and is raced by the Tods in partnership with J.D.Naylor, J.Leek, P.J. Wenham, V.P.M.Wilson and Girlzone Syndicate. Ridden by Dylan Turner and trained at Awapuni by Roydon Bergerson, Colorado Miss was lining up for just her second start after a luckless fourth first up, giving every indication that that's plenty more to come.
